Hazardous Waste Management
Here at BKP, we have over 50 years’ experience managing hazardous wastes. Our Romsey site is fully accredited ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 for waste management with a well-equipped onsite laboratory to provide comprehensive testing of pre and acceptance samples.
Our site is permitted to accept a wide range of waste streams, with flexible treatment and recovery solutions. The hazardous waste streams we currently handle, but are not limited to, include:

Chemist Services
We can offer classification and sampling services, laboratory smalls packing and collection as well as labelling, listing and if required industrial services operatives to ensure your waste is classified and transported correctly and compliantly.
Transport
We can offer collection vehicles for all types of waste inhouse, from an artic ADR tanker to a van or skip of general waste and can supply containers that are appropriate for all types of material.
Recovery Routes
Difficult solid waste streams would typically be incinerated in the UK. At BKP, we have access to recovery routes via TFS for wastes such as adhesives, paints, resins and oil that can be shipped to mainland Europe and used as a replacement for fossil fuels or recovery as a secondary raw material within the GRG Waste UK network.
